At school drawing and painting were my favorite subjects. I always envisioned growing up as an Artist.

You all know, as we grow up, we drift away from childhood interest and choose different professions. I choose to be Marine engineer and spent rest of my life at sea away from home and family. Always enjoyed sailing, arriving at different ports, hospitality, culture and food were unique
experiences that I will ever forget.
I fell in love with Launceston and Tasmania during brief stay at Maritime College. Place that has everything, beautiful landscape, rivers, estuaries, mountains, paddocks, coastline and beaches just few I mentioned. And I forgot beautiful people.
After I retired, I left my home town Goa, located on the west coast of India. Place well known for its golden beaches. I left all that behind and made Launceston my new home. I am still here enjoying warmth of the Launceston society and very welcoming people. My interest in painting got better of me. I enrolled at TAFE and learned basics of drawing and
painting, attended lots of painting workshops, enhanced my knowledge and skills. My art work is about Tasmanian Landscape. I like painting mountains, fields, estuaries, skies and people. Tasmania is artists haven and for me it is very inspiring.
