About Jaylah...

Singing is life! Jaylah is currently 16 yrs old and is full of passion and enthusiasm for performing. She has been receiving coaching and training in singing and musical theatre since 2021. Jaylah made her debut as a solo artist in the "Showing Off Again Showcase" Hosted by "Miss B's Student services" in late 2021, and musical theatre debut in 2023 when she transferred to "School Of The Arts" where Jaylah is coached by Micheal Ballard, Emma Ballard and Mitcheal Trott in Singing, Performing Arts and Dance. In 2024 Jaylah made acting debut with "Star Rae Production" as "Chook" in BillyCan.

Jaylah has been given many opportunities to perform as a Solo Artist through eisteddfods and performing challenges where she has been very successful in securing wins and placing. In 2023 Jaylah won the Launceston eisteddfod Vocal Encouragement Award and in 2024 at the Burnie Eisteddfod she won "Promising Vocalist 16 to 18 year" among other achievements at competitions. Jaylah performed in the acoustic section of the Riverside high School "Battel of the Bands" where they won first place and she has also performed at, Caroles by Candlelight in Launceston and Legana, as well as the "2024 Youth Week Festival" at Exeter, the "Bingo Extravaganza" at the Casino and the Launceston football club end of year family day just to mention a few.

In 2023 Jaylah joined "Stage Prescence" Hosted by "School of the Arts" (SOTA) where she has had the opportunity to perform as a soloist and as part of an ensemble within Act1, Act2, Act3 and soon to hit the stage in Act4 she has also been lucky enough to secure lead roles in all these production. Jaylah just recently she completed a workshop at "National Institute of Dramatic Arts" in Sydney, the experience, knowledge and tool she received was invaluable.
