About Milinda...
Milinda Salpitikorala is an artist whose work pulsates with the spirit of history, myth, fantasy, and heavy music. Originally from Sri Lanka and now living in Launceston, he explores both canvas and digital realms to create images that bridge the worlds of ancient lore and raw energy. His art—often commissioned by bands and featured as striking album covers and logos—reflects a deep connection to the powerful themes of fantasy and history. In 2012, he debuted his brand SKZIN, and as the founder of Colombo Open Air, Sri Lanka’s first open-air metal festival, he has helped shape a cultural movement rooted in art and sound. It’s also interesting to note that he juggles his love of the arts while carrying out duties at his day job as a General Practitioner.
